This Lu-Mi instrument is a piccolo violoncello patterned after Antonio and Girolamo Amati. This model is ideal to create a sweet resonant tone with the top e-string. The width of the corpus also produces a proper bass register. We are able to customise this cello into a modern set up for interested players.

The Amati comes in standard and master quality. The master quality piccolo cello has decorative inlay on the back and English style decoration on the belly. The fingerboard and tailpiece are ebony over maple in the deluxe model and maple only in the standard model. Carved scroll and pegboxes and/or dragon heads are available as well as antique varnish.
